Are you a fan of Dota 2? If so, you’d probably know that Malaysia was the location for one of the Minors. The venue for the competition was set in Genting, and since my friends and I played Dota 2 quite often, we thought we’d go there and cheer for our favourite teams.

It was a 3 days 2 night trip, all of us even had to skip our Friday’s class in order to watch the first match. It was a fun and thrilling weekend. We would wake up and eat good food before going to the Arena of Stars to watch the best of the best compete against each other, and this happened for three days. The vacation was very much needed, we definitely had our fill of rest and fun there.

Although the ticket was quite expensive, it was worth it, seeing as how we got to see our idolized players up close and my friends even got their hands on their autographs too! I hope that Malaysia will be able to host such events in the future again because I sure as hell will attend it with my friends!
